Turn, turn, turn...

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace,
A time to refrain from embracing

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time to love, a time to hate
A time for peace, I swear it’s not too late

Time - wow, it seems like it slips away, day into day, week into week, month into month.  I can not believe Ben has blessed our lives for 7 months.  7 months!!!  And am now a true believer in the theory of not remembering life before baby.  I don't know what we did before Ben, we must have been really self absorbed!

A time to plant, a time to reap - Tim's garden is growing and blossoming, lots of yummy veggies coming in!  Swiss chard, peas, squash, onions, tomatoes, eggplant, corn, carrots, peppers, cucumbers and sweet potatoes.. Mmmm...  Ok - all but the peppers - if you know me, you know peppers and I don't agree :o/

A time to laugh, a time to weep - Ben has the ABSOLUTE best belly laugh.  And it is the highlight of anyone's day who is blessed enough to hear.  Check out the video of him in the bathtub with the toys if you need proof.  (on my Facebook page).  Luckily, we don't have much weeping in this house.  Bedtime is always happy and waking up in the morning is estatic cheer.  Ben is still on his antibiotic coverage, doing very well.  Blood work last month looked great.  He goes again for more next month.  Again, truly blessed!

A time to build up, a time to break down - Next house project is fixing the fence.  The beasts have taken over the yard and escaped from the old wooden picket fence out front a few times (accidently) and it scares me.  So, new 6 foot PVC fence will be going up to keep the beasts in the back yard.  Tim also put up Ben's swing in the back yard and he loves it!  Then again, he is definitely an out-side baby.  Fresh air is his friend, and helps with his good nights.

A time of love, a time of hate - Weddings, weddings, weddings!  Lots of cousins getting married this summer!  And a dear childhood friend of mine, also a good friend of Tim's in middle & high school is getting hitched in January, but in Punta Cana, so we are starting to think about travel plans (which is always fun).  Oh, and the 14th of June was our 8 year Engagement Anniversary - thanks for remembering Mom!  No hating - except for not having enough time in the day!

A time of war, a time of peace - Steve is going back to Afghanistan in July.  No details yet, he will be able to take mid-tour leave when Bri has the baby.  However, we don't know much more yet.

A time to gain, a time to lose - Time to gain energy and health and LOSE the rest of the Ben weight!  Tim and I want to be active and healthy with Ben and for Ben and each other.  So, here we go on this journey together!  Wish us luck :o)

I think that about wraps it up for now!  Stop by again next month for more news!!

Lots of love,
L&T
